What does the process look like with Fractional Weddings?
We love to start with a meeting to get to know our couples. Once we’ve figured out which package best suits your needs, we require a 30% deposit and provide you with a personalized contract based on our discussion to officially book your date. Closer to the wedding, we schedule another meeting to go over all the details, including the aesthetic direction. This is where you can share your inspiration, show us the styles you love, and let us know what’s most important to you.
Do you offer both photography and videography services?
Yes, we offer both—and we love blending them together! We incorporate photography into the main video and use videography to bring your photo gallery artwork to life.
What’s your approach to capturing weddings? Do you direct moments ?
We do a mix of both, but we always take the time to discuss what feels right for you during our meetings. Our main goal is to make everything look beautiful while staying as unobtrusive as possible. We use zoom lenses to capture intimate moments from a distance so you can enjoy your day without feeling like there’s a camera in your face.
Do you offer drone footage in your wedding films?
Yes! We have three certified drone pilots on our team. We love using drone shots to enhance the storytelling, whether it’s showcasing your venue, capturing breathtaking aerial views of you as a couple, or setting the scene in a cinematic way. You can see plenty of examples in our work!
How long do you take to edit everything?
We take a maximum of 90 days to deliver your full gallery and video. Wedding films and photos are delicate things—we don’t want to rush the process, but we also don’t want to keep you waiting too long! Throughout the process, we send sneak peeks and teasers so you can relive some moments while waiting for the final edit.
Can we request changes to the final wedding video?
Of course! If you want your cousin edited out of the video, we’d be happy to make that happen! We’ll go over the final cut together to make sure you’re happy with it.
What are your pricing and package options? Any extra fees?
We believe in full transparency—no hidden fees here! Our pricing is based on the time invested in your project. The cost varies depending on the coverage duration, number of edits, additional videographers or photographers, and any other custom requests. Let us know what you need, and we’ll walk you through all the details!
How would you describe your photography and videography style?
Very narrative-driven. What makes us unique is that we come from a cinematic short-film background. We don’t have a list of pre-planned shots—we let the wedding unfold naturally and capture it as it happens. This means every edit is truly unique, shaped by the real emotions and energy of the day.
What’s the length of the final wedding video?
We’re super flexible when it comes to editing, and we tailor it to your needs. We offer everything from 30-second social media reels, to 4-7 minute cinematic highlight edits, to 2+ hour documentary-style edits. We’ll discuss what suits your vision best during our meetings.
Do you provide couples with the RAW material?
Yes, you get everything! Under Canadian copyright law, including Quebec, the photographer typically retains copyright unless otherwise stated in a contract. However, we explicitly give you full rights to your wedding photos and videos in our contract. Your wedding memories belong to you, so we make sure you receive all the raw files as part of our promise.
What happens if it rains?
We offer a one-hour charge-free reschedule for the couple’s session in case of rain. We once had a heartbreaking experience where we had planned a stunning sunset shoot in nature, but the rain forced us to cancel. Ever since, we’ve made it a priority to offer this free rescheduling option so our couples can sleep soundly knowing they’ll still get the photos they dreamed of.
